Food & Wine Trails is known for their wine-focused cruises.  In 2009 they have delicious itineraries planned, many of which include free airfare.  Their deluxe cruises include, in addition to the expected amenities, private wine seminars, tastings, and a wine-makers dinner, all hosted by nationally-recognized wine personalities.  In addition, at many of the ship’s ports-of-call, optional wine tours and lunches at top wine estates are available.  They offer cruise-tours throughout the world.

Sonoma Wine Country in California Goes Mobile

July 13, 2008 · Filed Under Food and Wine, United States · Comment

Sonoma Wine Country is located 30 miles from San Francisco and features more than 250 wineries, 100+ organic farms, and 50 miles of stunning Pacific coast.

Wine country visitors can now book a hotel room, make dinner reservations, or find a wine-tasting room from their mobile phone.  The Sonoma County Tourism Bureau rolled out their new mobile website, mobile.sonomacounty.com this month.

The mobile site allows visitors quick access to vacation information on their phone or PDA where they can view the countywide event calendar; book a restaurant reservation using OpenTable; and locate a hotel, inn, B&B or vacation rental.
