Spain: Stay One Week for FREE!
How does a FREE one-week stay in a rural 4-star resort in Spain, including three meals a day, sound? Too good to be true? Guess again. It’s true! Okay; there IS one catch. You can only speak English there!
Pueblo Ingles is an immersion English language program to help Spaniards improve their English; and native English speakers are sought to take part in activities such as one-to-one conversations, group activities and games, mock conference calls, and entertaining theatre skits and presentations.
This is a unique opportunity for English speakers to be immersed in the Spanish culture, learn a lot about the Spanish people and their way of life, without a phrase book in sight. More than 1600 volunteers visit one of Pueblo Ingles’ locations each year and this number is set to grow as a result of the demand from Spanish clients.
The programs are run year-round and the 2008 calendar still has many available slots, but the summer months are filling up rapidly.
In business for six years, they offer five venues throughout Spain. The locations are picturesque and reminiscent of true Spanish living. The sites are located in historical regions with points of interest that would not be frequented during the usual vacation in Spain.
Pueblo Ingles invites potential applicants to fill out an online application form through its website. Further details of how the program works, who the participants are, and details of exactly what is expected from each volunteer can be found there.
Unfortunately, they do not want their phone number and address published in this article because the application process must be done online. So if you reading the mailed edition of this newsletter and don’t have online access, ask your kids or a friend to help you. It’s worth it!
Important Note: Only your room and board is free. You must provide your own transportation. Still, it’s an awesome and interesting travel bargain.

Hello:
I’m interested in applying for a one-week experience in teaching English, hopefully in mid-October, 2011.
I have been a librarian, an English/reading teacher, and an English tutor. Currently, I substitute in the Aurora, Colorado public schools in English and social studies.
Thanks for sending me some information.

@sushant,@Andrea You need to check at their website which is the link in blue at the end of this article. Click that link and you will be directed to the website. They got the program details, sign in applications, places and available dates. I just checked and they still offer 6 free days of accommodation in different places in Spain. Good luck!
