ThriftyTraveling.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.  When making comments and when ordering products or services from us, you are required to give your contact information (such as name and e-mail address).  In the instance of purchases, your financial information is requested as well.  ALL information is 100% confidential.  We will not sell, share, or rent any of this information to others.

We use customer contact information to occasionally inform you of sales and special offers, and to share with you news about our website and publications.  Your contact information is also used to contact you should we have questions regarding your order or to notify you regarding the status of your order.

ALL of our users’ information, not just the sensitive financial information, is restricted in our offices. When you purchase from us, we send your credit card information, name, and billing address to credit card companies for verification and to authorize your purchase. We give your name and shipping information to third-party shippers who use this information to deliver your purchase.

 
Updating Personal Information

If a user’s personally-identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will correct, update, or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. This can be done by e-mailing our customer support at mary@thriftytraveling.com.
