While it’s exciting how technology has made the Internet interactive, trying to make sense of some of the options available can be a bit intimidating. At least that’s been MY experience!

I kept seeing the RSS icon on people’s sites, with enthusiastic invitations to join their RSS feed. However I honestly had no clue what it was much less how to sign up. So I mentally filed it away under “More Information Than I Need To Know” and chose to ignore it for a very long time.

When I finally realized what it was, one day, it changed my whole online world.

 

WHAT IS RSS?

What a concept! RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary, depending on who you’re talking to. But don’t worry about the technical terms. This is what it means.
