Historic Mount Vernon to Offer Money-Saving Admission Packages!

Mount Vernon invites visitors to save a few “Washingtons” with new money-saving packages! Beginning April 1 through October 31, Mount Vernon’s three new packages can save visitors money while providing an entertaining and enriching experience for the entire family. The packages will be available through Visit.MountVernon.org or at Mount Vernon ’s Ford Orientation Center ticket window.
The Farmer ($17/adult, $8.50/youth) package includes admission to the Estate and George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill for a savings of $2 per adult and $.50 per child.
The General ($21/adult, $12/youth) package includes admission to the Estate, George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill, and an audio tour for a savings $4 per adult and $3 per child.
The President ($28/adult, $16/youth) package, available Tuesday through Sunday only, includes admission to the Estate, George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill, audio tour, sightseeing cruise, and 10% off at The Shops for a savings of $6 per adult and $4 per child.
Add a guidebook to any package for $6 and save another “Washington”!
Regular admission to the Estate is $15 for adults; $7 for youth ages 6-11; and free for children five and younger.
Visitors can easily spend an entire day at the riverside estate of George Washington, with its new facilities featuring 25 galleries and theaters, more than 700 artifacts, and interactive displays that introduce visitors to the real George Washington. The most famous dentures in the world are on permanent display, along with three life-size models of Washington created from a forensic investigation. The historic area features the restored mansion, original outbuildings, the tomb where the Washingtons are buried, beautiful gardens, and heritage breed animals which work at a four-acre farm site near the river.
