Located on a Native American reservation between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort is offering some thrifty deals.  For example, until August 31, 2008, hotel guests will receive a $25 gas card when booking two consecutive nights or a $50 gas card when booking three or more consecutive nights.

They also have a Tamaya Experience Package available through October 20, 2008.   It costs $295 per night during the week and $365 on weekends; but that’s per ROOM, not per-person.  And look at what is included.  In addition to a deluxe room, valet parking, resort fee and taxes, you get daily breakfast for two plus 25% savings off the resort’s spa, golf course, horseback riding, kids program, and bowling at nearby Santa Ana Star Casino.  You also get $20 in free slot play at Santa Ana Star Casino.

You can enjoy cultural activities such as pueblo bread baking, nature hikes, hot air ballooning, Native pottery-making classes, Native American dancing, and art demonstrations.
