The first London insider tip is how to avoid jet lag when traveling to London. Look into leaving the States on a morning flight. I know American Airlines has morning flights out of both New York and Chicago; United out of Dulles. The beauty of that is that you travel during the day and arrive in the evening; go to bed; and wake the next morning refreshed with no jet lag!
