Minimus.biz: One-Stop Shopping for Travel-Size Items

July 11, 2008 · Filed Under Air Travel, Camping, Shopping · Comment

Thanks to Minimus.biz, packing for a trip couldn’t be easier.  This convenient online “department store” offers an amazing variety of products packaged in individual sizes which makes them perfect for travel, for camping, for your office, for your car, for your home, and for your purse.  And the great thing is that these products meet TSA’s three-ounce rule.  In fact, they offer a free quart-sized Ziploc bag packed with the toiletries ordered by customers.

Here are just a few examples of what you’ll find there.  Get individual packets of instant coffee or cocoa in the Beverage department; travel-size laundry products in Domestics;  cereal, condiments, and even kosher products in the Food aisle.  Under Personal Care you’ll find toothpaste, deodorant, hair spray, and lotion.  Their Pharmacy offers essential products for a tiny first aid kit.

Speaking of kits, the people at Minimus.biz have put together “care packages” for special groups of people.  They offer Military Care Packages which were designed by the troops in Iraq via the non-profit Soldiers’ Angels organization.  The Dorm Care Packages are for students away at college.  For traveling new parents, they have a Baby Care On The Go Kit.  There are several other kits available at the Kits/Care Packages section of the site.

According to the Lamperd website, crew members would be able to use radio frequency transmitters to send out a signal which overrides the central nervous system of the person who is wearing the bracelet and render him or her immobile for several minutes, not unlike the tasers used by the police.

While the intended use is against “terrorists,” consider this.
